Lily is Blessed!

This past Saturday was a very special day for me. I was baptized in the Catholic church as a Christian. To make the event even more sentimental, I was baptized by the same priest, Father Joe, who married my Mommy and Daddy 8 years ago.

Here is a picture of me with Mommy, Daddy, and my Godparents, Victoria Zaiger, and Aunt Megan. I was a good baby for the most part. I fussed a little at the beginning of mass because I didn't like the bonnet Mommy made me wear. When Father Joe poured the holy water on my head I didn't even cry.

Many of my family and friends celebrated my baptism with me. Guests included Mimi and Grandpa Keegan, Tammaw and Pawpaw Seals, Great-Grandmother Walter, Great-Grandma and Grandpa Seals, Grandma Becky, Great-Aunt Barbara, Aunt Billie and Uncle Don, Kathy, Brek, Kell, and Chloe, Aunt Megan, Uncle Jason, Cousin Preston, and Jason, Victoria and Aivrey.

After church we all went to a nearby Italian restaurant and had a fun dinner with food, wine, and dessert. I of course had Mommy's milk. Thank you to everyone who attended and also to those who sent well wishes and gifts. It was a very joyous event!
