I Know Where to Go...To Get What I Want!

Last weekend Mommy, Daddy and I headed to Altus, OK for a visit with my Mimi and Grandpa. Friday night we went to Grandpa's favorite diner, JC's where they have the BEST Catfish Ever. They have mightly good mashed potatoes and gravy too. It seems everyone in town knows JC's is the place to go on Friday nights (when the Catfish platter is on special) because it was jam packed! I didn't mind the wait though, my Grandpa carried me around the restaurant where I could see all of the interesting things hanging on the walls. When we got back to Mimi and Grandpa's house I was wound up and took it upon myself to explore my new surroundings. Finally around 10:00 I called it a night. I was so tired I slept until 9:00 the next day.

I figured out pretty quick that at Mimi and Grandpa's house I can get whatever I want. Mimi made me special sugar cookies in the shapes of "L" and stars with pretty pink sprinkles. To Mommy's shock and awe Mimi let me eat my cookies in the living room, on the carpet! Grandpa went in the attic and found the little rocking chair that Mommy and Aunt Megan used to sit in. I had so much fun sitting in my very own pint sized chair. Mimi also made me homemade macaroni and cheese and it was YUM, YUM. Now, everything I eat is YUM, YUM! I had a super fun time with my Mimi and Grandpa and hope to see them again very soon.
