A Quick Getaway!
Last weekend we made a last minute decision to travel to Wichita Falls (Mommy's hometown) for the baptism of my bestfriend, Chloe Clendenin. I had a great time visiting with all of my family and playing with my cousins.
I got to stay at my Great-Aunt Linda's house along with Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa and my cousins, Allyson and Jake. I had so much fun playing with Jake and exploring all of Great-Aunt Linda's toys. She even had a box big enough for me and several of my cousins to fit inside.
Saturday was also Mommy's birthday and she was very happy to get to spend it with her family, all except Mimi, who was called away to Muskogee, OK to take care of great-grandpa. We really missed Mimi! I got to spend a lot of time with my Grandpa though and I think he enjoyed carrying me around and showing me off.
Mommy had to get a picture of me and my cousin, Kate. Everyone says we look alike. One thing is for sure, neither of us wanted to cooperate and have our picture taken.
I had so much fun playing with my cousins and I think my buddy Chloe did too. I can't wait until she can walk so she can run around with me.
My Aunt Megan was amazed at how much I've grown since she last saw me. She even taught me how to say "MOO" like a cow.
