Summer Lovin'

Spring has quickly turned into Summer here in Texas and I'm loving every minute of it. Mommy, Daddy, and I are staying busy with work, school, swimming lessons, birthday parties, and lazy days in the SUN.

Since I'm fairly well acclomated with the water, I could hardly wait to hit our pool. Several times before the water became warm enough to enjoy, I tested it out, al la nude! I love being outside so much that Daddy let me sit on the covered patio and watch a DORA dvd. There's just something about swimming, hotdogs, and ice cream that makes me love Summer!

Last weekend we ventured out to Possum Kingdom Lake where we were hosted by our great friends, The Zaigers to a fun filled day and night of excitement.

I took my first boat ride and LOVED it. I swam in the lake and even did some tubing. The boat was a blast but I also loved riding in the golf cart around the lake with Victoria. Did I mention that the Zaigers' have the cuttest little dog, Zoe? Blake and Aivrey are a blast to play with and they have all kinds of neat toys at the lake. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I got to go to a party at the lake and all of the kids got to hit a pinata, just like on Dora. I ended up with a lollipop and LOVED it too. To top off my weekend of firsts, I had a slumber party with Mommy and slept in a "real bed" for the first time. Mommy didn't think I was such a great sleep mate- with all of my tossing and turning but it was nice to wake up and give her a kiss "good morning!"
