My 1st Summer Vacation
I spent the last week in Seaside, Florida on Summer Vacation. Mommy, Daddy, Mimi and I left last Saturday and drove to Magee, Mississippi. We got into our hotel about 2Am. We spent the night and continued our journey the next morning to the Destin, Florida area. I got a little scared when the car got dark at night but Mimi stayed right by my side. 
Mommy rented us a house to stay in and we all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms to use. I even had a tv and dvd player to watch when I wanted to.
We had fun resting, playing, eating, shopping, and watching the olympics. I wasn't a big fan of the beach. Too much wind and the water kind of scared me.
Mommy wrote my name in the sand on my 6 month birthday and we posed for Daddy to take my picture. One day Daddy built me my very own tent on the beach but after about a 30 minute nap I decided I'd rather be inside. 
I really enjoyed all of the quality time I got to spend with Mommy, Daddy, and Mimi. Friday afternoon we decided to make the trip home. Daddy drove in the rain and dark all the way to Monroe, Louisiana. When we got to the hotel at 12:30AM everyone was tired but me. I talked and rolled around for an hour before I finally fell asleep. We finished the trip the next morning and were home Saturday afternoon. I was so happy to be home and out of my car seat. I hadn't seen my room in so long that it seemed like brand new to me.
