Lily's a Big Sister!
It's been 7 days since Logan's birth and the majority of friends and family are asking the same question, "how does Lily like being a big sister?"
I'm not sure that Lily has truly felt the impact of losing her positioning as an only child. She's as strong willed and independent as ever! If you ask me, those who called the "2's" terrible have never met the "3's." As we get through the daily trails and tribulations of Lily flexing her independence we are all adjusting to life as a new family of four.
Logan is a very good baby. As long as he eats every three hours (on the dot) he seems to go with the flow. I'm currently working on keeping him up a little more during the day so he will sleep better at night. I'm seeing his eyes open more and more each day. It's so exciting to see him somewhat connect with us all for the first time.
When I ask Lily what she thinks about Logan she says, "he's so cute," or "he's so sweet." She loves to be the helper. She loves to talk to him and sing to him while he sits in his swing. She also loves to give him his paci.
For now, I think she'll let us keep him! ;-)
