Switching Gears...

Welcome to the first post of my new blog, "the Mommy blog."  After much contemplation and consideration I've decided to have one blog for both Lily and Logan.  The major benefit here being that I can write from my point of view.  I have a strong passion for writing. This all began in Mrs. Hughes' fifth grade English class at Ben Milam Elementary in Wichita Falls, Texas.  I'm excited to have this new outlet to do something I truely enjoy, writing. The added bonus is that I get to share my life and the lives of my children and husband with you.

I initially started blogging about three years ago after the birth of my first child, Lily. I was overjoyed by all of the new experiences I was having as a first time mother. I wanted to share every precious picture and detail with all those I know and love.  Blogging was the easiest and most cost effective way to do so.  Lily's blog was written in her point of view and I'm proud of the three year chronicle of her life. I will be making her blog, from birth until age three into a keepsake book.

I hope that you will "follow" my blog. I'm committed to keeping it updated (my goal is weekly.) People don't realize how hard it is to find a little time to blog. Trust me, I work full-time and have an extremely active daughter. On top of that, I'm my own house maid, cook, drycleaner, ect. Yes, sometimes it's hard to have time to blog. Again, my goal is to keep this one updated so please check back frequently.
