Dora Live!

For several months now I've seen  marketing and advertisements for Nickelodeon's Dora Storytime Live.  I would point to the television and say I wanna go see Dora.  Daddy finally caved in and purchased us tickets.  The day the tickets arrived was a big event at our house.  Concrete proof I was on my way to see Dora and Boots.  The day finally arrived and I got dressed up in my fancy dancing skirt and headed out for the big show.

As soon as we entered the theater my eyes were hooked on the Dora merchandise I just had to have.  After some negotiation, I settled on a neat cup with Dora, Kai Lan, The Wonder Pets, and Backyardigans.  It also has a lid and a really neat green, curly straw.

The stage was set and gave us clues that spelled Storytime.  Once the lights went dim, Mommy surprised me with a character enhanced light up toy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show.  I saw Kai-Lan, the Backyardigans, the Wonder Pets, and finally DORA.  The end of the show was my very favorite as all the characters came out and I got to stand up and dance to great music.

Thanks to Mom and Dad for a wonderful treat.

Who wouldn't want to see their childhood hero live in person?
